Advertised on Ebay by Amari Cars. 20k miles.

Is this a bargain or does this particular car have something to hide?

Or are other cars advertised ridiculously overpriced?

One cheap car does not make a market.
Do a search on Amari as well, some less than favourable thoughts on them. Personally I'd say it's either a typo in the price or something is seriously wrong with the car.

That's odd, Amari are about a mile up the road from me and their cars are usually well overpriced.

Just rung them the car is hpi clear ftvrsh, it is not the "sort of car they like to sell a bit of a rough diamond" against there other top end cars, and they seem to think that the price reflects this...
What a bargain for someone when you think of what st6-8 and racing green are asking nearly DOUBLE this price.
Oh and it comes with a years warranty in the price........

Oddly it's up for £45995 on their website. All that stuff about being rubbish to drive in traffic that they've put on is just cock - I've done hindreds of miles in traffic and it ain't nbad at all - just frustrating

I'd say a dose of caveat emptor required here, a £20K price discrepancy can't be right......

These guys are used to driving e box Ferraris, Porsches and the like so they don't know what it's like to drive a real car biggrin

It wasn't on their site when I looked half an hour ago so maybe they priced it without doing any proper research and they've suddenly realised their mistake?

I wonder if it was taken in part exchange and the original price on ebay was right then what did they geve the poor sod for it? yikes

At 25k i was beginning to think of a small project.... :dream-on:
I suggest when they change the price from £25k to £45k they remove the rubbish about being a pig to drive... not the best way to try to sell a 45k car imho !

Wow! What a funny way to sell a £45k car, if I hadn't been a TVR owner before, that add would really put me off.frown

Typical of the garage really, I believe they do a lot of business selling body kitted Porsche Cayennes.

...and they can't sell enough Sags... speaking to the guys at TrackVRoad who have sold 2 Sags recently - both at near £50,000, they both sold at the full asking price and the last one they sold had 3 buyers after it.

Also ST6-8 have just sold a Sag at £52k and after speaking to the dealers who sell em prices will be near £60k soon for good uns.

Not that I bought mine as an investment but it's nice to know Sags are appreciating like no other car smile

Makes the T350's look like fantastic value..stick in a RG FFF / Syvecs conversion or a TVR Power upgrade and you've got a faster motor for half the price...with virtually the same mechanicals..and if you get a Red Rose..you get the same mechanicals..suspension aside..

Just bitter cos I would have had a Sagaris two years ago but it wouldn't get up the ramp into my garage..and the looks have grown on me..

Well spotted! When I read...

Armari/Auto Express said:
But make no mistake, the Sagaris is not for the faint-hearted. The engine is rough and, at idle, you can hear every twist of the twin-overhead cams. At low revs, the unit chugs as it hunts for torque, making for uneven driving in slow traffic.
I thought this particular car must have had something wrong with it. My Tuscan was not the most fun when edging forward, stop start in a queue of traffic, but the engine never chugged as it "hunted for torque". confused

You should try it with a lightened flywheel - I'm going to have to learn the car all over again!
