The splitter on the Sagaris uses 4 bolts to attach each side. One bolt is slightly longer than the other and I very stupidly didn't note which of the 4 holes it came from when I dismounted the splitter.

Does anybody know which one it is?

(Yes, I know I could start dismounting the other side till I find out, but it would be so much easier if someone just knows)

The bolts on mine were all different lengths, I guess they fitted whatever was lying about!

I guess they were intended be same at M6x40 hex set.

If too long they will just stick through in inner wing

Thanks Graham.

The ones that came off are rather rusted so I think I'll pop into B&Q and buy 4 stainless steel M6x40 in that case.

Are you sure you didn't mean M8x40? They look far closer to the originals to me.

What size socket did you use? M6=10mm socket. M8=13mm socket

13mm and I've checked the M8x40 bolts I just bought against the old ones and they're an exact match. I suspect it was just a typo on Graham's part as he's seldom wrong. smile

???
Aug 2005 onwards build
Front splitters = 8off m6x40 hex set
Rear diffuser base 3off m10 x 40 caps

Just checked mine too, as above

It maybe possible they have been tapped oversize, as M6 is a bit weedy anyway??

Let ms know

Without a shadow of a doubt, my 2005 Sagaris uses M8x40. I bought M8x40 on spec and the match is exact and they screw in fine.

One of the 4 is definitely M8x45 though. Which is odd.
