anyone got a photo of the drivers footwell showing the pedals? Only had the car a few days but noticed there are not bolt in the aluminium plate in front of the pedals...checked on a friends tuscan II (cheers paul) and there are bolts...including a throttle stop. Anyone know what size the bolts are too? Thanks in advance!

They are M8

The most important is the one that limits the clutch peddle travel, or you will over travel the clutch and it will break the fingers

cheers for the link...and the clutch warning.

are there captive nuts behind the rear of the aluminium plate for the bolts or do i need to reach behind with the nuts?

sorry to be a pest but any chance you can let me know the lengths of the stops of your clutch and throttles...just for a starting point.

Nuts captive, with M8 x 40 capscrew.

Start with about 25mm of thread proud.

Should have rubber buffer fitted too.

Jack both rear wheels off ground

person 1 (in car) put car in first gear, then depress clutch slowly
person 2 try to rotate rear wheel(against engine) as soon as the clutch is disengaged the wheel will turn free
the stop wants to be just below this point for max clutch life
if when driving (cold) you cant get into gears give the peddle more travel

cheers to all

just seen the pic in the owners handbook - helps picture what i need to do. Bolts should be no problem...just need to think about the rubber stops?
