They are the proper seats for a Sag, same as fitted in the T350, some cars had Tuscan 2 seats fitted which feel to bulky in a Sag.

They are slightly smaller at the top than the ones fitted in the T350, this stopped them rubbing on the roll bar.

They ran out of proper seats so fitted what they had lying around in true TVR fashion, ie Tuscan 2 seats.

It's about 50/50 when you see Sags as to what seats are fitted. Benefit of the T350 seats is color coded backs...

I prefer the Tuscan seats in mine - especially the lack of colour coded backs - would be too much with it IMO.

I have Tuscan seats but with colour coded backs and I like the look but would still prefer the T350 seats for the extra support.

The seat were designed for the Sagaris and were fitted to the early Sags, they were displayed in the sagaris at the 2004 NEC car show. They are different to the T350 which can easily be seen at the top when you compare them side by side. The T350 have a more rounded, blended in wings while the early Sag seats are more defined as can be seen in my Tamora, which were fitted at the factory for the NEC car show too.

My old T350C of 2005 vintage had the "teddy bear" seats with the canted forward headrest ears from the factory. I hadn't realised that my current T350C seats (2003 vintage) were different until the missus pointed out that the headrest didnt extend forward as much, she knew this as she said her head used to bounce of the newer style headrest ears . Pic of the 2005 T350C seats attached.
