Sagaris with the slats cut out ??
Discussion
If you are serious about doing yours, suggest you chat with Russ at Raceproved. He's done a number of Sags now.
Assuming you have one of course. I couldn't tell from your profile
Hope that helps!

Jeremy Clarkson-based rubbish (no, not that being thrown through the slats!).
t got flung at the screen with them open? They weren't cut out due to the Russian worrying about warranty bills down the years and it took a few man days to cut them, IIRC.

Nothing will fly up at the screen as there is an inner wing on the production cars. On the prototype the cut outs actually served a purpose of releasing air pressure built up in the wheel arches. Braders pic above shows the cut outs and black inserts put into the holes, done by guys who work out of Surface & Design. The cut outs are purely cosmetic, having said that they look pretty tidy and you don't need to repaint the car afterwards. Alex's job, done at Raceproved is cut then meshed and apparently has had modification work to the inner wings to release pressure from under the wheel arches. This would be the more correct way of doing the job, although it is quite an invasive procedure and needs painting afterward.
t got flung at the screen with them open?It is true to say that the only reason the Sagaris production cars didn't have the slats cut out was to save money. Clarkson's comment about filling the cuts in is b
ks as the raw tubs never had holes. The holes were to be cut out later (at considerable cost of manpower).YRRunner said:

Yep, think it was TG I heard that on, so fair-do's. Mind you I think the slats look bloody horrible whether cut-out or not. Way too MaxPower for my liking. I realise I'm in the minority here, but I think the Sag is pretty ugly all round. It is true to say that the only reason the Sagaris production cars didn't have the slats cut out was to save money.
