When mine came back from TVR Power rebuild, it was set at about 600 at cold (stutters a little bit for first 30 secs or so) and seems to be about 750 when hot. Seeing as TVR Power set it at this, and left it like that at 1000 mile service, then I'm happy with that. Never really leave it idling at cold anyway...apparently that causes bad things to happen

Seems a bit low (I'm not near my car to check right now).Are you running it on Super? Mine isn't always happy idling on 95 RON. VPower all the way for me.
Otherwise get it set up by the garage, you really shouldn't have problems like this so soon after picking the car up.
One thing to consider is another one of our beloved 'TVRism'. On startup you should not have to touch the acclerator pedal on turning the key. When the car does fire I have been told that the pedal should be left alone for at least a full minute while the fueling is adjusted to suit startup. Works a treat on my 350 and eventually settles at 900 after a bit of movement either way.
Agree on the setup, I had no idea how rough the fueling was until it was setup correctly and it was quite a change in all areas. Off a low throttle in particular in a high gear, the car doesn't hesitate one bit up to the shift lights with my foot in the carpet.
Thanks to Torque RVT for the work a while back BTW, Ian has his 'challenges' but can certainly set a motor up.

Mine dropped a bit over time and got to 550 when cold. When hot over 700 was fine but the 550 did bother me so last summer I had the 'throttle valves' adjusted (? sorry, don't really know the English word) and the TPS synchronised. The engine now sounds a lot happier when cold with a bit higher idle level.
On another post I think Graham said that it needs circa 900 for effective oil feed and circulation. Mine starts cold at about 700 so I prod it a little to keep it at 8-900 for a minute or two. I guess that is why it's recommended not to idle at cold start but to get moving asap, to get the oil circulating. BTW, that's a stunning colour for a T350, lucky boy.

Hi Steve, 550 is low IMO. My car started from (super)cold idles immediately within a 850 - 1000 range before settling rock steady at 950. I'd get it pushed up a little. I tend to start my car with the clutch in (especially if cold or it's been a while) to reduce wear on the battery, and then try to pull away after giving her a little throttle at about 1000 odd for about 10 seconds (after letting her idle and adjust for about 10 seconds) or so. Everyone's got their little quirks and methods!
I'm sure you're well aware of the rev ranges/oil temperature nexus? All helps keep the six pots in good order!
