Here is my old S6 before I pulled it out. Pretty much only aesthetic benefit though they should last longer and leak less though mine were fine when I pulled them off at 1,000 miles.Looking at different tweaks for my T350T and thought about upgrading hoses under the bonnet.

Just had mine done, but in black. So they don't look a whole lot different than standard, just cleaner and a bit shinier!
The reason I did it was because the radiator output hose was a bit mis-shapen and had begun to leak, and all the jubilee clips were getting rusty. In my experience, when one goes, you can probably predict that others will be in similar condition, and I didn't fancy chasing the next coolant leak for the next couple of years.
The reason I went for black? Well, personal choice I guess. I like a more understated engine bay, and for me, patina on a car is what it is all about. Just my taste.
