Tamora body panel question
Discussion
I'm on the trail to buy a used Tamora privately and have seen three this weekend. One of them has what I take to be the GRP panel join lines diagonally across the wing, directly above the front wheel arches. Not all that obvious, but clearly visible when you look along the panel with reflected light.
Is this where the nose section is joined to the rest of the bodywork on a Tamora? On the Griff and Chimaera at least I believe the join is further back. Have any Tamora owners noticed a similar line under the paintwork?

OK, thanks aromat - I just wanted to be reassured that this is a 'normal' join. I couldn't see it at all on two others I looked at and I was surprised the designers would put the join at the top of the wheel arch where the section is at it's narrowest and therefore weakest point.
It was on an early '02 car - maybe quality control improved on later ones...

Yes those lines are normal. Mine showed up quite badly and I got full front end respray under warranty and they are almost invisible now.
On the positive side, do a search for Nubbins photos. If you have a 'big one' they have a big role o play, ie as a crumple zone, if that is the right phrase.
