Optimum tyre size

I'm wanting to put 18 inch spiders on the Tamora, upgrading from the 16's, but just wondered the optimum tyre size?

Also the optimum offset?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Default TVR fitting for 18" Spiders is 225/35/18 front and 235/40/18 rear (on a T350 anyway).
I converted to 225/40/18 front for a bit extra sidewall (and hence comfort)
and 255/35/18 rear to get more grip, and seemed to handle much better.

Fronts might rub a little on wheel arch.

The sizes you have stated are what the wheels have on them now, but i just wanted to check prior to fitting.

Is there a way around the fronts rubbing?

Replace the lamp covers, they don't need the big bulge in them. Its in the Sagaris bible how to do this.
