Has anyone changed the head on their T350 is it possible with the engine in situ or does the engine have to come out if so can the engine come out the normal way or does it have to come out from below?

I've read this for a tuscan, dont know if it is possible in a T350 there is less room and the engine goes under the windscreen so dont know if you would get the head bolts out?

Good point - and I'm afraid I don't know the answer.

yes the engine has to be removed to replace the head, we remove them from the bottom with gearbox in place.

I am gearing up to perform this task myself. Am already assuming engine out job but also assumed I could remove gearbox and then take engine out from above with a crane and bonnet off. Am I wrong in my assumptions?

If I take the gearbox off first, is it possible to take the engine out the normal way i.e from top not below or is there no room to move
Anyone done this?
