Not breaking any rules here or embarrassing myself as the results will be publicly posted on the H & H site eventually. Hammer fell at £39,000 but the extortionate 12% buyers premium on top will hurt a bit!

Most odd ?
I was hanging on the end of the telephone whilst the bidding rushed well beyond the guide price, certainly the guy who handled my call was under the impression it had sold, although the auctioneer was most brusque, with several previous lots he really hung the bidding out wringing out the last penny, not so the Sagaris.
I think I`m correct in saying Lot 1 also came from the same vendor .. which did sell with no reserve.
Odd .

The interior shot looks like there is dampness damage to the steering wheel etc?
The auction photographs were very poor, and in all honesty the car would have benefited from a decent valet but it was a good car that hadn't received any attention for several months prior to the auction. One owner so I believe, full service history, few light scratches but nothing serious, no kerbing to the wheels etc
Had it been Chamaeleon Orange it would be sitting in my workshop now.

I was watching it online and the hammer definitely fell. I even called them at 6:30pm just before the end of the auction. The girl said it had sold and they were just sorting out payment as we spoke. Weird.
