Hello, I recently gave the 350 it's biannual break fluid change and i can't get any pressure in the system. It's as if there is air in the pipes but we've bled it several times. It's never been a problem in the past.(My mate and i have done it a few times before.) Initially we pumped the fluid out using the pedal then filled the bottle and bled them in the usual order (nearside rear, offside rear, nearside front outer then inner then offside front outer, inner.)
The brake pedal gets some pressure if you pump it a few times but then the pressure drops away. I bought a new brake bleed kit that uses tyre pressure to force the fluid through and bled the brakes a few more times. Still no joy! We were very careful not to let the bottle run low on fluid.

Somebody suggested that the master cylinder seals may have gone so we replaced the cylinder with a new one, followed the same procedure but it's still the same.
I've run out of ideas. Any suggestions would be gladly received.

It sounds like there is still some air in the system to me. Maybe worth trying one of the pressurised bleeding systems that push the fluid in. They work really well.

Thanks. I have got one of those. I think i'll try running 1/2 LTR through each pipe just to be sure.

Have you blead the clutch?

Shares the same fluid / reservoir. Connection is under the airbox.

Cheers

They aren't on the same circuit though they just share the resrvoir so I doubt if that's it. Worth a try though I guess.

I've finally admitted defeat and booked it in at the garage. I'll get them to change the clutch fluid too. Thanks
