Re-locate 100 amp fuse

Had mine re-located to the engine bay, easy to get at, no faffing with the airbox, edited to say it's not failed since, but thats good. Graham 100 amp is usual, but if you say 130 amp is ok, then why were they not used in the first place?.
IMO - Also my thoughts. The alternator is rated at 100amps so the circuit needs to be protected correctly. If allowed to run up to 120 - 130amps (alternator failing) what other damage would this cause? If the cable is on its limit at 100amps it would get very warm at 130!Me, I have relocated but also have fitted a 100amp circuit breaker. If it ever trips its a simple reset, no tools required. Will try and take a pic for you.
Cheers. Lee.

Has any one got experience of re-locating the 100 amp fuse to make for easier access / replacement?
Is it worth doing?
Did you replace the 100 amp fuse with a 150 amp?
Cheers. BB.
