Battery disconnection
Discussion
For ease, remove the nearside front wheel. There is a plastic/fibreglass panel on the back side of the inner wheel arch. It is normally held on by 1 self tapping screw and 1 bolt (or 2 bolts) at the top edge, plus (usually) a cable tie at the bottom edge which loops around the chassis. Undo the bolts/screws and let the panel swivel itself down and around the curved bottom end (attached to the chassis by the cable tie). Good, easy access to the terminals from there. Presumably you only need to undo the live connection?
Remove the wheel outside the container then the cover, loosen off both conections....place cover in boot. Drive it into the container then squeeze down the side, reach in and just pull them off. That's what I did when it left Southport? and when it arrived in Australia it fired up straight away.
