Wing mirrors with a mind of there own?

Has anyone had there wing mirror adjust themselves randomly. Sometimes the mirror motor come on for just a second other times the will adjust itself in one direction and won't stop the only way to stop them is to turn the engine off and then it'll be okay again. This happens on both the left and right mirrors.

I think need to have a look at the dashboard circuit board. As I've had a fiddle with the wiring and connectors.

Has anyone else suffered this?

I've had similar when I got water in the connectors inside the doors.
