Is it the one with the dash fire? If so that happened many many months ago. Eyes wide open and assume it will take 2 times as much effort and 4 times as much cost to get it on the road and you'll be fine.

Oh ok - if its been repaired then get photos of the repairs and ensure that the new nose was properly moulded on.

From the pictures I had seen before the repair it looked quite a heavy head on smash, as for chassis damage it would be stupid to accept the sellers description without a second opinion.

I agree re not taking the seller's word for the chassis, hence my post. Some useful info here so thanks for that.

Would have been interesting to hear from the former owner.
