Looking for a T350t
Discussion
Hello to everyone
I'm a Swiss student (medicine) and somehow I got infected by the incurable TVR-Virus...
Living in car-unfriendly Switzerland I'm quite lost here trying to find the perfect example. I therefore decided to import a car directly from the UK.
So if anyone is willing to sell their beloved T350t, please feel free to contact me!
Regards from Zurich
Lukas

Thanks for the hint. I am aware of the adverts, and I am already in contact with the seller. There might just be the problem that the car is sold until I have the chance to take a look at it.I was in the same situation as you. It is very hard to respond quick enough to snap up the perfect car that comes for sale because of the necessary flights and the difficulties of making it a one day trip.
Plus some private sellers have TVR in their heart and prefer to not sell their P&J to a foreigner. Maybe because they want to be able to see the car at some meeting again, or maybe out of patriotic reasons, anyway it is their right to do whatever they want with the car, but it does make it harder for you to snap up a private sale.
I decided to do it differently and not first make viewing arrangements and then book a ticket; I bought 2 or 3 return flights with Ryanair or so long in advance because they hardly cost anything anyway. Then I kept a look on the ads and close to the the planned take-off day. The day before, I made calls to some sellers and decided whether or not to fly in or wait for the next ticket. For me it worked out fine; I flew in, drove 800 miles through Britain, looked at 5 cars and bought one. I am very happy with how it worked out; every minute in the car is a joy and I will never sell it.
If you would like more info on importing it to mainland Europe feel free to send me pm!
Good luck,
Wiebe

Thank you very much for your responses. I am well aware that there are several factors other than the prize influencing the sellers, since a TVR isn't just an ordinary car. It must be a bit difficult to let it go and therefore I can understand that some personal selection is made. Despite all the challenges I am confident to find the right one.
Hi Lucas
I am also in Zurich and own an self imported Tamora. I hope you are aware of costs and things that need to be done to the TVR for MFK ? You can contact me on 0786337607 if you want information, it is ,unfortunately not so easy and expensive to homologate the cars here.
