Has anyone had the above done? If so where did you get it done, what is involved in fitting (cutting bodywork?) and how much did it cost?
I'm just looking at additional ways to boost airflow into my rad and the fins seem a great idea - if you've had it done was there any noticeable difference in cooling the water temps at all?

It has been discussed on here, but quite a while ago. IMO the biggest issue is airflow in traffic/when not moving when the temp creeps up a few degrees and the fans cut in/out (as designed btw). This is not something the fins would help with.

Edited to add: Forgot you now have a super duper speedytastic engine ... maybe they will help then

IIRC Trevor Bee offered these, although I can't find them on his website. I remember having exchanged some emails regarding the fins but never got to ordering them.

I can imagine that the cut outs might indeed help. My impression was that the fins were only there to add strength to the cut out. I can't believe you can actually get a big enough chord (?I think) on the wing section to actually accelerate the air as it enters.

Our RO fitted some to his T350 a few years back and I seem to recall he said it certainly improved cooling. I think S&D fitted them after he'd made a master out of wood (Not sure about that though)

Mate, check out my cooling vents, I know I'm not 3.6 but mines been in Le mans traffic with no issues, I have scoops and a vent under the number plate.

Covered in detail here.

The standard design spills most of the high-pressure air out sideways and loses it, a single Sagaris fin (a slightly modified centre Sag fin) can send it where it's needed, bringing down coolant temps by 3C even when running steadily at 70mph on mine, in the years when we had actual Summer temperatures smokin

I made these for my old t350 a couple of years ago, they worked well.
I belive Jason @str8six does something similar using Sag fins to fit into the t350.
