I've got Tuscan seats in my T350C and they appear to give good support all round and they are well clear of the cage too.
Has anyone else had this seat change done?
Cheers
Steve

I dont have a t350 but do have a tuscan with some tuscan seats. They are pretty comfy indeed and the lumbar support is great for the long trips, but i've been looking for something more figure hugging. Short of spending quite a few pennies on trying to source tvr sparco ones does anyone have a t350 or tamora who wants a seat swap? Or someone who wouldnt mind me sitting in their seats to see what the differences are?

I have Tuscan seats too, nice and huggy, much prefer them to the T350 seats as they really hold you in place well. Perfect shape for the harness too smile

Funnily enough, I think the complete opposite.

I had 2 Sag's at one point, the 2005 car had the early style bucket seats with the painted backs, and the other was a late car with the Tuscan seats, and I always, always, always much prefered the earlier type seats.

The later Sag I still own and funnily enough I'm just in the process of throwing out the Tuscan seats for something a bit better.

I think the T350 seats are unsupportive, always slid out the seat of my one, having the cusion out helped but i still had to brace myself with the centre tunnel and door on track, tuscan seats are better for me.

yes Totally 100% with you on this. The arms on the Tuscan seats are flimsy and have no appreciable support in cornering. Yes it's easier to thread harnesses through the hoop, but in terms of support... the T350/Sag seats are made for purpose. Plus they just look a million times better than the Tuscan seats. John Simpson would prefer to change his out on his new Sagaris too, which kind of says it all.

Exactomundo!

It's just a shame that those custom Sparco seats that TVR were using on the last few cars (and Jason STR8SIX used on his Red Bull Sag), are no longer available, as these are the best TVR seats available.

Ah, silly question - why not get your seats re-trimmed to add more lumbar or bottom support?

I'm getting mine re-trimmed now to include heated seats and more lumbar support added...

Speak to the guys at TVR Power as they have been selling the Sparcos lately, I have found them to be a much better seat than the Tuscan ones, to the extent I swapped them from my TuscanII to the Sag when I changed cars.
Do beware though they sit higher than the originals which might be a problem for taller drivers.

How can you say Tuscan seats are less supportive? I sat in the t350 ones and there is no side support at all!

You tell em Steve lol!
I bought my T350C with em already in - they appear to have been fitted at the factory and have a nice little T350C logo on the seat backs.
I like em after sitting in a couple of other T350's with the standard seats in. I was told that the original seats can foul the roll cage and so slightly twist the seat - that's one of the reasons my car had the Tuscan ones fitted.
Absolutely LOVE the colour on your car.
Cheers
Steve

Couldn't get on with any of the variants (including the Sparcos) for spirited driving, so: http://www.reverie.ltd.uk/tvrtuscans2seats.php

Do you have a spine? wink

surely that would destroy your back with anything more than the occasional short country road blast?

nice looking seats though

Reckon that's the first time I've been called spineless, thanks for that mate wink

Actually v.comfortable - despite having an old back injury - and I also find they give me much more detail on what is going on with the rear tyres. I do have pad kits for the seats but rarely bother to use them so consequently haven't got round to getting them trimmed.

As said earlier the Sparco seats that were to be fitted to the revised Sagaris are available from TVR Power, I also seem to remember some posts on here a while back saying that the Lotus Probax (think thats right) seats work well so that might be another option to look into.
