hi guys

Started seeing a warning message pop up on the dash every time I start up saying Oil Pressure warning, and gives me the read out of the pressure, very low but then climbs up and goes to normal within around 1 second.

Also noticed the same warning when the car is warmed up and on the over run, flashes up periodically after a series of bends or going around a large round-a-bout but then again it will settle down when the car is on the straight, or if I touch the throttle again.

any suggestions - checked the oil level and all seems fine.confused

First place I would look is the oil pressure sender. They are not that good. I replaced mine with an upgrade from racing green I think.

It takes a couple of secs to get the correct pressure anyway as the oil has to reach the sensor. Cheap to replace and not a difficult job, just go easy when unscrewing it, they can bind in the alloy boss and its not fixed too well the body so it might be an idea to clamp the boss then unwind it.

So, replaced the sender with upgraded one from racing green. Still throwing up warnings on motorway driving and through bends.

What else could it be? banghead

well...it could be low oil pressure...sounds like you need to get it checked asap just to be on the safe side.
