Tamora /T350 hi breed!!!
Discussion
has anyone tried putting the front and rear of a T350 onto a Tamora, i'm considering taking on such a project but wanted to get an idea on what the pitfalls could be and if it has been done before what the end result would look like? my bodyshop/painter is cable of the work and has repaired many TVR's, we spent some time sizing up a T350 and some Tamora rear panel last night in his yard and in theory it looks possible, the only tricky bit seems to be having to fabricate a boot lid. can someone confirm that Tamora's and T350 have the same chassis and wheel base dimensions, the front seems pretty straight forward and even the bonnets look similar dimensions. sorry if this has been covered before but didn't have any luck with search!!
Hi Al,
my conversion is ticking along. Build thread is here: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
Bodywork is basically done now and I'm trying to sort out a paint shop and prices.
I had more or less decided that I was going to go for Chameleon (reflex) green, but I've just heard that someone else with a reflex green Tamora is going to get heir car converted to T350 after mine is done, and they'll be keeping the colour so it's put me off. Damn!
The Alfa project probably won't happen unless I get bored of the look of the T350s, crash the T350s, and blow the engine, thus need a new (italian V6) engine and new bodyshell all at the same time!

might be a bit too far for you but i know a painter in maidstone, kent who could paint it for you, he's done lots of TVR's before and is currently in the process of acquiring some spectreflair pigment and i believe he's dealt with plasticman before, he's also currently got dan taylors spectre flair silver T350 in for some paint.
he posts on here as redbullRSC give him a shout
