Hi,
New T350t (2004) owner, bit confused by what the coolant level should be. Can anyone tell me if level should be below/above the pipe?

Thanks,
Luke.

Fill it to just above the pipe, maybe 3/4 full in the chamber. Your car will then spit some out of the cap seal until it gets to a level it likes. Each car is different.

Thats about where mine is. If you overfill it a little, as Targ' says it just spits it out of the cap when up to temperature (on the underside of the bonnet).

Having found the working level on mine, I have a spoon with a mark on it I pop in the chamber to check the level is OK periodically.

Oh yes, you need to steal a wooden spoon from the kitchen and keep it in the car for dipping purposes smile

Guess my car decided the coolant level was too high and dumped it all over garage floor last night. Knackered hose and radiator seal, and just the night before driving it to Italy. Welcome to TVR Ownership Week 1!

Sorry to hear this. It sounds more serious than a water level issue to me though.
