Sun visor PITA
Discussion
I'm sure I'm not the only one as both my TVR's have done it, the drivers side sun visor tends to fall down bit by bit on bumpy roads.
Being 6ft Im already having to duck a bit to see up and out of the side windows and the sun visor dropping steals an inch or two of the windscreen which really obstructs my view and gets on my tits.
I just received the 'bible' yesterday, thanks Graham! Amazing detail for many things but it doesn't cover how to sort this.
I assume the visor is spring loaded or something and I'll need to remove lots of trim but has anyone done it before who can give tips to make the job easier or how to better secure the visor?
Passenger side is fine...
Cheers

The clue to that will be in your post
Sunvisors came in late 03/early 04 along with a couple of other mods such as boot roller, recessed glovebox and boot lip, screwed on full filler ring etc.
Good old TVR - mine is a mid 03 model and has the sunvisors, recesses, boot roller but mot the screwed on filler ring!!

Convert the car to LHD? At least it's been done before whereas no one has ever found a satisfactory solution to the falling sun visors Passenger side is fine...

Right guys, sorted my sun visor tonight.
Easy.
Step 1 -remove 2 x centre pod bolts 3mm Allen key

Step 2 -remove 2 x Phillips screws just under the leather edging at either side as below

Step 3 -tighten 2 x phillips screws on on either end of the visor

Step 4 -reassemble in reverse order and use a tiny dod of super glue to hold the leather roll bar trim over the visor trim at the A pillar

It took me about 15 minutes to do this, next time it will be about 5, piece of cake! Hope this helps a few others

well I'll try!
if the sun is low enough to warrant the use of the sun visor then i am not tall enough to reach my head up to where the sun visor provides shade.
