I've got the 3.91 and although it's great on country roads, cruising on the motorway is a pain above 70-75 as the revs get above 3k beyond that speed. I'd like to cruise at 80-85 at those revs so may also be on the lookout for the 3.73 ratio,

I have a diff with the 3.45 sitting in my shed, does anyone know if it's easy to convert them? Also got a standard or hydratrak diff lying separate aswell but don't know which it is, can't see any markings, are they worth anything?

What will the diff swap gain you Rhys, and what is the standard Sag diff ratio?

Faster low down. It depends on what they put on at the factory I believe. Mine has a 3.46 on it.

I have a 3:73 in the Tam. 70mph is 3K revs so at 80/85 you will still be well above that, probably right at the revs where that sports exhaust starts getting a bit annoying on long runs as mine does.

I have a 3.91 in mine. Frankly the TVR is loud at whatever revs you're doing, I don't really notice it any more. I still get high 20s to the gallon at a fast motorway cruise.

That sounds more like a 3.91? 3.73 should give around 75 at 3K?

Ok, home Friday so will check it out. I suspect it's just the casing that's rusty.
