Hi guys,

My original radiator has just given up the ghost.
I'm looking for a new ally one and have come accross this from Aaron Radiators.
It is £280 inc VAT rather than the £500 or so from Power / RG etc.
Have any of you installed one of these in the past, and are they OK?

I'm told its not a stock item and will need to be made up specially.

I've just had a radiator from them and quality seems fine. The only question mark I had is that the end tanks feel like they're painted silver which is a bit unusual for ally tanks, but I haven't looked at it too close yet. Will be installing it in my car on tuesday hopefully so might be able to let you know a bit more then. The Aaron people were very helpful on the phone, and I can confirm that they manufacture to order, rather than keep a stock of TVR rads.

There is a company on ebay selling an all ally rad for the same price, or maybe slightly more, with an aluminium plate welded to the back to accept the cooling fans rather than the fibreglass cowls.

Not sure on others, but on sagaris no clearance and have seen a few sags with body damage, so ensure plenty of clearance before tightening in place

I bought a replacement ally tank for my late 2004 T350 (same radiator, I think) back in 2009 via ebay from Radtec (see link below) and although higher than you wanted to pay, I did make them a best offer of £390 (+£15 postage) which was accepted. Nothing for your car listed at the moment on ebay (only TVR item is for 3000M).
My points being that this was a quality all ally tank which I fitted myself (no mechanic) without too many problems and changed to all silicon hoses at the same time.

Hope this helps.
