Do like the exhaust version on this one. Seen it once on one of the Jag green cars from memory.

I saw this at another garage in HK about a year ago. It was the equivalent of £135,000 sterling then. The link to the original ad is broken now, but at the time I had my HK mate translate the ad. A bit strange as it was listed as a 2005 back then, not a 2007. RG might know more about the car as they sold it I believe (it has their tailpipes on it). As far as I knew back then, it was the only other remaining Sag having been originally factory painted in TVR Racing Purple Pearl (mine being the other). Importing costs for cars into HK are horrendous. They add up to approx 100% of the purchase price, hence the premium!

If anyone really is interested in finding stuff out about this one, my sister lives in 'honkers' (her word, not mine), so could find something out?

The first HK$150,000 is taxed at 40%, the next HK$150,000 is at 75%, the next HK$200,000 is at 100% and the remainder is 110%.

So a Sagaris at £55000 is is HK$692000 (roughly).

First 150,000 is 40% = HK$60,000
Next 150,000 is 75% = HK$112,500
Next 200,000 is 100% = HK$200,000
Remainder is at 110% = HK$211,200.

Purchase price plus tax is HK$1,275,700 in todays market. yikes

I know maths isn't my strong point.... Here is the web page showing details.

I think that car was sold by Racing Green about 2 years ago for export to HK

Definitely sold? Did they ever have it? Many dealers take pictures from each other's sites, when the car arrives, when it is being serviced and even shots of the car when it is parked up in a garage and claim it is for sale. Sometimes the owner is aware, sometimes they are not. If they get a bite they then approach the owner. Many times you'll find a car has "just sold" or "is no longer available".

I contacted the linked company and asked them for basic info about whether or not the car has been registered for road use here in HK, they didn't seem to know and didn't call back to me so I left it there. Too many questionable sport/exotic car dealers in this town, even large ones that import cars named after fighting bovine, so best to stick to ones you've done positive business with.

Pretty sure this was sold, as I looked at it before I bought mine. I was too late once I decided to make an offer on it, and it had already been sold to someone in HK

I think Justices was referring to whether it had been sold off the HK offering, not RG's. RG definitely sold it to a HK buyer/garage. Whether the HK garage actually sold it is debatable. I've seen 2 seperate ads in HK for this car now over the last year or so.
