New Battery for the Tamora
Discussion
Had to replace mine a month or two back. Here are the words of advice from Shep on my post at the time:
'069 round post with a decent CCA. Make sure you get a battery with the flanges on the sides so you can clamp it down (MOT failure for an un-secure battery). Don't leave your keys in the car as it will lock and roll the windows up when you re-connect the battery.
Make sure you insulate the +ve terminal properly as its by the chassis, I would check all the terminals too. Also whilst you are at it have a good look at the anderson connection for corrosion/fatigue as ts been the culprit of many a crispy TVR in the past.'
Unipart is the place to get a 069. I tried and failed to get one from another recommended motor factor. no messing about, straight swap.
