Just seen my Sag for the first time in 2 months. Has been under the care of Chris Gregory in Knaresborough for a respray Ibis white. Oh my goodness, i am still smiling, what a job Chris has done. It is flawless. Was nearly put off by the "keep it original" stuff i read on here but i'm really pleased i've done it.

Still a few bits to re attach and painting headlights white but will be heading up to Blackpool for a new interior next week, cannot wait to get her home.

Looks great! Am I the only one who thinks the front lights look good without the covers...?

Hadn't seen that one before Alex so thanks. Looks great and good to see what silver alloys look like. I'm trying to go for the black and white look with black spoiler, heavily tinted back windows and black interior/ alloys. Very very happy though, a great job and can't wait to get out in it.

I thought that didn't look quite as bright as the white Tuscan in the background with the big spoiler, it still looks great though. I was going to have the area around the lights painted black (i said white in my first post) but i think it looks good in the picture. It might look a bit like a Panda once the light covers go on if i leave them white.

Cannot wait until spring. Never ventured out to any TVR gatherings but will be next year.

The next big problem is will it be 4.3 or 4.5!!!!!

What sort of spoiler are you looking to do? Tinted black glass one to replace the clear glass or something more custom?

They are putting a black tinted one on but i'm not sure it's what i'm looking for, it's not on yet because they can't get the old one off and need new brackets but it doesn't seem dark enough.

What you thinking custom wise?

Just wanted to see what you had in mind. The larger spoilers don't really work with the Sag, but the tinted glass ones work well. I went for a smoky blue one.

There is a company that TVR Power uses that can produce them any colour you want.

I agree, i think the smaller original size look the best and wasn't planning on going any bigger. I've got the tinted one and it looks ok but like i said it doesn't look that black. I was abit concerned that going black and white and it would look too pimped up with really dark rear windows and quarter light.

I'm also not sure if i should have the brackets powder coated. Too many decisions!! It's great!!!!

I went for tinted back and a light partial tint on the front. I think a full heavy all round tint might be too much.

Looks awesome IMO

Really brings them up to date and really suits ALL Tvr IMO, haven't seen a bad white Tvr at all.

Mines ibis white too with a pearl over it. I'm very pleased with it and it's gets admiring glances everywhere.

I love the pearl though, sometimes looks solid white and then has hints of silver and under certain light gold too.

The Tuscan looks fantastic in white with the black wheels, really nice. I think moving away from the original spider alloys is the way forward.
