I was just wondering how you can tell if the engine or whole car is a RR spec!
I have seen the red on in PH classifieds and the only "obvious" thing is that the car sits lower on the suspension.
Just curious I suppose.

ride height adjustment is not specific to red rose so not an obvious indicator.
The oem HB shocks on my T350 had a choice of spring seat positions for the seat circlip as do the replacement factory bilstiens and there is also the adjustable threaded spring collars fitted to the HBs now transfered to the Billies. I understand not all shocks came with the threaded spring seat collars but they can be easily retrofitted once you have the parts.

what size did they go from 304 to 322mm and if so is it a simple swap to fit the larger disc

Front is quite easy, rears more involved.

It's worth it when you need new discs simply because of the vagaries in pricing; it pays for itself in two sets!!

At the risk of upsetting someone, I'm yet to be convinced that a RR T350 ever existed as a separate model line. Yes, some have got bigger brakes, a few had 4.0s from the factory and there may or may not have been a lighter vinylester body. My impression is that, unlike the Tuscan RR, the T350 was offered for a while with "RR options" and very few, if any, cars had them all fitted. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

When I was looking for mine I am sure I saw an advert for one that was advertised as RR and the pic showed a more stripped out dash?? Maybe I'm wrong as a while ago now!

Cheers. Lee.

Is that not just two discs with two packers for the calipers? If so thats a lot of money compared to just new discs.

Mine states Red Rose on the official TVR paperwork that came with the car.

It has the 4 liter engine from the Tuscan S MK1, bigger brakes, a wider exhaust but standard billsteins and no CR gearbox. Also I have no idea what diff I have.

although not heavy it is not a lightweight either.

For me as well the 'Red Rose' is more an extra package than a different model.

I have done as much online research on this subject as I could, both pre and post purchase of my T350 'factory RR'.

Being new to TVR, although a fan for many years, most of the info I got was from PH, thank you to all in previous threads.

It was only when I took my car car to Str8six that Jason confirmed my T350 has a vinylester body, 4.0s engine, bigger brakes, larger bore exhaust and a different suspension set up. What the difference in suspension is from standard I don't know, although I will ask.

My car is registered as a 3.6, as vin plate says, and the previous owner thought it was a 3.6, although he was selling it as a RR, i.e. an upgraded 3.6L engine.

Jason said about 30 T350 cars were made as RR editions. He also suggested I hold onto it as prices are rising, but this the subject of other posts, and I ain't selling!

standard gearbox.

My Tamora has red rose stamped on the side of the engine block on the exhaust side at the front of the engine, together with Tuscan s down pipes and larger brakes, though I'm not sure if the body is light weight or not, guess I'll find out later this year when it goes in for a repaint

The vinylester based body is more flexible than the standard.

Not all the Red Roses had the lightweight body. When I specced mine, for the extra price premium of a Red Rose I was offered the CR box OR the lightweight body. I chose the box, as I think many did.
