I'm thinking about getting a T350c as my next weekend car, I've owned a Z4 for over 4 years and 30k miles. My cars have to live outside 24/7 as I don't have a garage. The car would get used in the evenings and weekends and be well looked after and maintained. Will a T350 stand up to being left out, or will I ruin the car by treating it like that?. Friends I have spoken to tell me I'm mad to get a TVR and leave it outside in all weathers, stating it will leak, rot away and never start.I'd like to think it'd be fine and would intend to keep it for a very long time.My own view is that it's a waste to keep a car as a garage queen and only do a thousand or so miles every year, and more likely to result in failing components, than using it as god intended. What's the thoughts of those in the know, ie, current owners?.

The previous owner of my Tamora kept it outside for four years and it didn't seem to suffer for it, so I should think a T350 would be fine.

Mine stays out 24/7 owing to the less than watertight Chimaera and Westfield taking up most of the garage space. It's been fine even in torrential rain etc.

I've recently invested in a Stormforce fitted cover (mainly because foxes and local cats have started using it as stepping stone) and have been very impressed with it - so that's an option if you get a T350c which leaks!

My Tamora lives outside and like every other TVR it leaks, nothing serious and I find that the best way to dry it out is to take it out for a decent drive. If you're going to be driving regularly it should be fine. I have invested in a cover for the winter as I have no plans to drive if there is any chance of ice and will cover both to protect the car from the elements and me from being tempted to drive it. If you buy one you will be searching for reasons to take it out.

My Cerbera has been outside for all it's life, 12 years now and I've had no problems relating to that.

Both my Cerbera and Tuscan have lived outside. The Cerb leaked, the Tuscan slightly less so but still not watertight by any stretch. Other than this, neither car has really suffered for being out in the elements. The only other issue is the fact that you can't hook the trickle charger up.

Don't see a reason why it would an issue, they are great cars. I would get a nice car cover though just for a little extra protection.

Hey Diablos

I have a very expensive specialised cover which I spent £339 on but have not been won over 100%

How much are you looking to sell yours for?

Agree to all of the above, but would suggesting buying sachets of silica gel to absorb moisture when it is very cold. Condensation has been an issue when garage was unavailable.
