The tube is hidden by the trimming, so I can't make any photos...but by searching for some pictures I've found out, that the tube doesn't really connect both pillars.....it goes down to the transmission tunnel. Probably not, all of the rear elements of the 'rollcage' are only fixed to the fibreglass so I doubt if it's bolted/glued to anything more substantial than the transmission tunnel.MPETT said:

Jesus... that looks like some double side impact - against a tree or a lampost ??? Amazing he walked out of that, but gives me much more confidence in the outriggers and door beam strength !
