Cat C right off but looks in pretty good nick from the photos.

I don't think he is suggesting any of those things are a problem. If I'm correct in that assumption what other reason for running away can you think of?

You're not being stupid. No one is suggesting anything illegal. The person/company selling it has mixed reviews. Read everything you can find about them and decide whether you want to proceed any further.
