Dash lights staying on

I have the LCD display frozen and the dash lights permanently on.
When starting my T350 this evening I got a noise from the heater fan motor, while adjusting the heater and speed controller these controls stopped working with the lights frozen in place. This then froze the dash lights and the LCD screen on. I assume that the fan motor has lunched itself and the electrical faults has damaged the dash ECU.
I have tried pulling fuses to switch the LCD dislay off but it hasn't had any effect.
Anyone recognise this issue?

Had a similar problem on mine a couple of years ago - ended up being a problem with the alternator, but could also be a stuck relay:
