It's cold out there!!!

Not yet. The system is supposed to stop any drain below a critical level by isolating the battery. You can then connect a charger and disable the brain - as far as I've been told.
There is a remote control that switches it on and off. So, just switch it off and charge.
Looked into it about a year ago, so can't remember all the details - haven't had a car to install it on...

That's not really how it works Alex, or how you use it.There is a remote control that switches it on and off. So, just switch it off and charge.

Essentially the device gives you two options:
1) Fit & forget:
Just lock the car & walk away, the BB will monitor your battery, when the parasitic drain drags the charge down to a given level the BB will disconnect your battery.
The BB is designed to initiate the disconnection while the battery still has enough charge to start the car.
The disconnected battery is now no longer subject to the parasitic drain.
When you return to the car you will know the BB has disconnected the battery because your TVR alarm/central locking fob wont open the door.
So you hit the BB fob to reconnect the battery, unlock the car using your TVR fob, & because enough charge has been retained to start the car you simply turn the key and drive away.
2) Use the BB to disconnect the battery immediately after you have locked the car:
Just lock the car as normal then press the BB fob to disconnect the battery, this is ideal if an extended layup period is expected.
Actually this is the method I always use even if I know the car will be used in a few days, my disconnected battery is never subject to the parasitic drain right from the moment I leave the car.
When I return the battery has barely lost any charge at all, I simply press the BB remote to reconnect the battery, wait for the alarm to re-set (three indicator flashes), then I unlock with my TVR fob and drive away.
Works every time, no solar charger, no mains power supply needed for a trickle charger, no manual battery disconnect switch that means I can't lock the car.
A disconnected lead acid battery in good health will retain sufficient charge to start a car after many months of inactivity and no help from a trickle charger.
Battery Brain.... simple, cheap & effective.
Why do TVRs suffer from this after just two or three weeks ?? I can leave my BM out for many many weeks and the battery is fine and turns engine over first time and it starts. What is casuing such a huge drain ?? Both are alarmed, which is all that is 'on' whilst they are locked ?
There must be some fix to stop this happening without installing a BB ??
