Sagaris differences
Discussion
I'm curious to know what changed over the few years that the Sags came out of the factory.. and why.
For example the turned alloy stalks on the steering column versus some have just back plastic ones. Not too sure why and which ones were on the earlier cars? My Aug 2005 Sag has alloy.

My 2006 Sag came with plastic stalks but was then fitted with Alloy stalks by the previous owner, I think it was a cost cutting excersize by the factory, they are all plastic underneath anyway...
Also the later cars like my one were fitted with smaller tail pipes on the exhaust.
A few very early launch cars had electric seat or lumbar adjustment but that was soon stopped.
Also seats changed from T350 style to Tuscan style as time went by for cost/availability reasons.
The MK2 had further changes like a one piece hinged bonnet and there was maybe one or two with rear facing exhausts.
Not sure what else...

Wasn´t the alloy part just put over the original plastic stalks? For example the turned alloy stalks on the steering column versus some have just back plastic ones. Not too sure why and which ones were on the earlier cars? My Aug 2005 Sag has alloy.
Some early cars had the fuel filler cap alloy ring sit just proud of the paintwork, later cars were 'sunken' in and flush with the body. Some Sags had rubber seals around and between all bonnet gaps, some didn't, and some owners that did - took them out. A very early original Purple Pearl press car (as per some youtube footage) already had rear facing exhausts! There were a range of different end cans, depending on which supplier had been paid and which hadn't.

Ah, es, that rubber seal around the bonnet was a real annoyance.I tried a number of ways to keep sticking it down and then after the third time the heat caused it to peel off, it got ripped out.

I'm am sure early sagaris seats are different than t350's teddy bear style as they have larger ears at a different angle? But they do seem pretty rare Also seats changed from T350 style to Tuscan style as time went by for cost/availability reasons.
