I noticed tonight my brake lights have stopped working :-(

I checked the brake light bulbs and they worked in the indicators, I also checked the reversing light and as it worked that ruled out the fuse as brakes and reverse light are on same fuse.

I presume there is a pressure switch that operates the brake lights?, if so, are these known to fail and how do you check/change one? Thanks

There's a small micro switch in the Pedal Box, you only have to remove the Pedal Box Kick Plate...

Just got the kick plate off, the micro switch is basically impossible to get to unless you disconnect some or all of the pedals?

No need to take the pedals out its a bit tricky but can be done with small tools.

But check the brake lights before removing the brake switch by shorting the two (if I remember green) cables.
