The seatbelts on my Tamora are really slow to retract and often get trapped between seat and door because they haven't gone back properly.

I've seen the seat belts available on the suppliers at £130-£150+ each but surely they are available cheaper or repairable? Anyone else had this problem?

Cheers,

Andy

To be honest seat belts not retracting is TADTS thing. Try playing with some non greasy slip assistance on the reels and ensure that the belts have free movement and aren't trapped by the seat etc. Just one of your TVRs 'features' that you need to pay attention to.

I doubt replacing them will solve the issue.

(I've replied to your post on the TVRCC site as well.)

I have had the same issue in my Cerbera and the only thing that made a slight difference was spraying the belt with silicon spray it seemed to help the belt move a bit easier but still not plike a normal car.

Mine does this too, i wouldn't worry about it as there'll be something more important to sort out in due course wink

I had the same problem in mine. Move the seat a fraction and it cured it - honest!!!

This was an issue with the early Tams, and the factory subsequently installed a 'fix'. Not that the 'fix' works particularly well, though. Try a search.

Did try posting before posting couldn't find anything. Just tried again and still can't find anything. Anyone know what the "fix" was?

From memory, the upper 'wheel' was moved forwards.
