Comms Error on Diagnostic Software

Chaps, any advice experience on Comms Error, whilst trying to connect to the Diagnostics Software on a 2003 T350.
The Cable and Software used, has been proven on a couple of Tuscans, but will not connect to the T350 and states Comms Error.
I've tried the EOBD connection also, but this does not connect, although a live terminal.
Any help experience, guidance, magic fairies welcomed?
