Reduction Gear High Torque Starter

Has anyone replaced their Speed six standard starter with a reduction gear high torque starter, e.g. based on a denso unit. CCW seem to offer one type and Powerlite have another. Any experiences, including fit?

Upgraded to a powerflite on my elise (12.3 / 1 cr ) & it would start every time whereas before it was very hit & miss as to whether it would start.
