Popped into Bespoke Performance today to drop some stuff off to Martin and was shown an interesting mod they are trying out on a Sagaris which is aimed at lifting the car up a couple of inches - when necessary - increasing ground clearance to go over speed bumps etc.

Graeme is still playing with it a bit, but I think it would be quite a useful little piece of kit when finished thumbup

Shocks with small air bags or fluid filled? Able to lower/lift the car a few times before topping up?

I've done some preliminary investigations on these air lifters:

They will need either an on board compressor or air tank and I haven't fully thought it through or figured out if I need them.

Didn't have time to go over the technical details as I had to get to work and was running late. I think it uses an air compressor. Next time I chat with Martin I'll ask.

Popped over to Bespoke today to discuss some work with Skip and Martin and in the course of these discussions, covered a bit more detail on the lift kit.

Was a bit pushed for time as I had a few things to cover with them, but basically, the lift kit is
oil based, has an oil reserve with it and can lift the car up, down or at default position.

Oil goes into hydraulics at the suspension (sorry, did not cover specifics of how) and lowers/lifts
the car as needed.

Three way rocker switch (or other unit) controls the lift.

One Sagaris has it installed and working. My Sagaris is next (with a little bit of additional tuning
to the idea discussed with Skip today). When complete, I'll post pics etc.
