For anyone who has weird electrical problems on their Tamora having just changed the battery or tinkered with the battery negative terminal connection that feeds through the passenger footwell bulkhead.....

If for any reason you undo the negative terminals that fix to the bolt that passes through the footwell bulkhead (see top left of photo), you may loosen the connections on the other side of the bolt within the passenger footwell. These connections provide all the internal earthing connections to the the alarm, ecu and dasboard electrics, everything in fact. If you cause a floating earth (by having even marginally loose connections)you will get some very strange electrical issues (as I did), such as random/eratic dasboard readings, partial-functioning alarm system......so beware.
Always ensure that both sides of this bolt both within the car and within the battery compartment are fully tightened.
Or in my case provide a proper earthing bar (within the passenger footwell)for all the negative connections internal to the car eletrical systems, connecting back to the negative battery terminal. Ensure that all the connections are fully cleaned, dry and tight!
