The battery is flat on my T350 and I know it will need replacing as I can only measure 2.5V via the anderson lead. Obviously I can't open the door to open the bonnet. (Thats if the bonnet needs to be opened.)
What battery do I need? Is Halfords a good a place as any to get it? Do I only need to access it via the NS wheel arch?

I hope someone can help. Many thanks in advance.. John

Battery is behind the passenger side front wheel I believe, so no need to access the bonnet to replace it. Halfords will be remarkably expensive for batteries, but Eurocarparts tend to be reasonable and I believe they are doing 20% off at the moment anyway.

Normal caveat - I'm no expert!

Thanks so far with all your help. I do have another query. At the moment I don't have a trolley jack. Will any trolley jack do? Or do I need one that starts off lower to the ground than a normal one?

Well, depends how low it is. I have a couple of standard issue jacks, and they are not low enough to get under. I drive the car onto some bits of wood to raise it slightly, which is enough. Tricky when you have no go power though.

As for the battery, some info here, because I had same issue. By the way the one I got from Europarts didnt fit so had to return it. Unipart had one though

I would take the battery out and take it to your local motor factors as the lugs on the base are important if you want it to fit without modifying .

Remember to jack on the flat plate that looks like it's reinforcing the corners of the chassis outriggers with a big bolt in the middle.

I use an ice hockey puck with a hole drilled in the middle to jack from.

I use this on the trolly jack, no damage to the bolts or the outriggers

I had the same issue a couple of years ago. Asked numerous questions on the forums without success. Bosch, varta etc all have different lugs which meant that the battery rattled around or did not fit. I Eventually I took the battery out and took it to euro car parts, at one depot six guys discussed the best equivalent for half an hour before recommending a bosch. I went to a second depot where one guy identified the battery straight away.

Basically the new battery was exactly the same size casing as the ORIGINAL TVR battery with the terminals on the right side, lower cranking / ampere rating but starts the car first time every time and was nearly half the price of named makes. If you have trouble finding a battery I'll check the details for you and post.

To answer your second question: the battery is behind the near side front wheel. I have a cheap trolley jack from Argos and my front suspension had lost most its fluid but still got the jack under without any problems.

Hope this helps
