Or perhaps it's cheaper to just buy a normal one and drop a LS3/7 in it!

Like you Clive i'm surprised to see this for sale & was looking forward to seeing the car run with the Winstanley Sag in Britcar this season!!
If i had not just bought the Sag i would be seriously tempted as you say there is a hell of allot of work gone into developing this car.

Wow there must have been a sudden change in plans there. That's never been a road car and any similarly to one is is purely co-incidental

I'm just considering options at the moment - one of which would involve selling the TVR. I'd obviously be very sad to see it go after all the work and development put into it - it came through the longer Britcar races really well and the one problem we did have (aside from spilling fuel in a pit stop!) has been addressed with a modification. With a fresh (barely run in!) engine and gearbox its a good time to advertise it.
We'll see what happens - in the meantime I'm prepping the car with the intention of racing it.
I think its unlikely we'll do Britcar this year. If we did I suspect the Winnstanley car would be in the class above mine based on what Craig told me about the engine. Lovely looking car
Re question posed by the OP, as David says, mine was never a road car, it was built as a race car from scratch. You could of course convert it but many of the expensive bits that make it a good race car would make it an awful road car!

Hmm... funny that some people try to get more money from me to build just an engine than the whole of this car...
Pascal your car seems like a mythical beast that people are afraid to whisper the name of in case it disappears!I have read and heard so much about your car but i'm starting to despair that i will never see this beast??
Are you any closer to getting to actually turning a wheel?
You must have the patience of a god
