Access to behind the drivers side electric window switch
Discussion
Hi Guys
I fitted a new stereo the other day but rather annoyingly the drivers side electric window no longer goes up when pressing the button. It does when locking the car. I'm guessing I pulled or snagged the connection when pushing in the new stereo...?
Any ideas how to get access to the rear of the drivers side silver panel and buttons please unless something else is wrong?
Also is it possible to move the silver panels outwards a bit as the trim to the stereo is slightly bigger than original and so doesn't fit very snugly?
Thanks Neil

If I remember correctly you have to take stereo out again! try air vent next to wheel. The trim is very tight on some units.Try pushing button in and out several times, one of mine has some grit stuck in button and after stripping and fitting new switch it then worked fine on my workbench.
The pcb boards on those switches can be very delicate, dry joints on solder joints etc, hopefully its just a wire off or trapped cable.
