Immobiliser woes

Hi guys,

I'm looking for help please! The immobiliser seems to be stuck on. The light is on at a constant dim red unless I turn the ignition on when it becomes a constant bright red. I've done a search and tried fuses 27 and 29 to no avail.

Any other suggestions? Bit gutted it's living up to reputation on day 2!

IIRC then you unplug the positive terminal from battery for 30 secs and when you reconnect it hold the button on the key down to reset it.

Happy to be corrected if this is wrong, but pretty sure!

I'd just done similar except for pressing the key fob. Disconnected and re-connected the car battery and the immobiliser LED started flashing again and it was back to normal.

So for anybody reading this in the future, if pulling the fuse (29) doesn't do it, disconnect the car battery.

Glad you got it sorted. Seems like the old "switch it off and switch it on again" seems to work!
