How easy is it to de cat a sagaris, is it just dropping the exhaust removing the cats and fitting a replacement tube, or are there any pre cats etc that also need sorting out
Do you do anything with the back box or not
Cheers Rob
Hi Rob, yes, just a question of removing exhaust and removing cats and replacing with a pair of de-cats. The sag has the slightly wider diameter pipes I believe, 57mm? There are no Pre-catsDo you do anything with the back box or not

I sent my back box to te Ilse of Wight whilst off, and got Clve to work his magic on it. Now has a nice deep bassy note, and has lost that speed six rasp
I've just replaced the cats with decats on my T350c it was easier than I thought took me about 2 1/2 hours, I took off the rear defuser then both under trays, removed back box then middle pipes and finally the cats.
One of the cats was in very poor condition proberly blocking some exhaust gasses now she runs so much better and revs much easier aswell.
The exhaust note now is fanstastic it reminds me of a metro 6R4.
I have the ACT back box and it is now very loud 95db at tickover.

De-cat pipes from ACT or STR8Six - proper cone-shaped stainless steel pipes. Think ACT are cheapest.
Would advise you go to CliveF for back box amendments - myself and S6ROR very pleased with the resulting noise changes. He does straight thru swan necks now instead of back box of you want (saves a few kg !!)
