Hi All
Sorry to ask something which I am sure has been covered before but the search facility is down for maintenance.

Can anyone tell me which sealant is used for the headlight covers on the Sag/ T350 please.

Cheers
Kev

I would use some Sikaflex 221 or 291, both are decent adhesive sealants that retain a little bit of flex. smile

Any suggestions where would be a good place to take to get this done in the south (apart from RG)?

Car builder solutions do a reasonably priced alternative. Just named (polyurethane sealant). Screwfix also sell it.

You can wipe excess off with white spirit while its still wet.

Defo use Sikaflex 221 in black. I done both of mine and they look factory finish. I use sika everyday in my work and have done for 21 years!

Dont use anything else!! Mine on my Sag look brilliant but dont do it in heat or a summers day. This product skins up fairly quickly.

And Cilve of your reading this i havent forgotten yrs mate!

By the way we sell Sikaflex in black on our website. This is the exact stuuf i used on my Sag headlights. Its an adhesive too so not only seals but bonds so wont become unstuck. Awseome stuff.

Just found it. This is the stuff you need. If you get it locally or from us doesnt matter, but this is the stuff. NOT homebase. I saw it my local store for £16.99!!!!!
