What can be wrong with it, changes pedal switch and fuse.
Stil not working.

All brake lights or just the centre 3rd light? Have you checked the bulbs. When I changed mine the new switch was faulty too. IIRC when you disconnect the switch, the brake lights should be on all the time (its a push to make switch). Put a jumper between the two wires that attach to the switch and they should go out.

If they work normally without the switch, It might be an alignment problem, you should here a 'click' as the switch arm actuates as you press the brake pedal.
