Struggling as usual to get the Anderson Connector protection cap back on and cursing away at it.

Has anyone moved it from the current position on a Sagaris / Tuscan / T350 / Tamora to somewhere slightly more sensible and more to the point accessible?

Have had a live terminal lug put in the engine bay so that you can get to the battery easily in case a jump start is needed. This can also be used to charge the battery with an Accumate. This give me three points to charge the battery, Anderson connector, cig lighter, and Live Terminal Lug in the engine bay.

Also had the 100amp fuse mounted on the side of the engine bay in a holder, so that this can be changed without the need to take the airbox off.

Just two usefull mods that make life easier thumbup

I had corrosion problems with the Anderson connector in its original position; even with different styles of protective cap (including drain holes in the caps). Finally I changed its location.

On my T350 the cable has been extended and the Anderson connector now lies at the nearside of the radiator (in the engine compartment). Cable length is sufficient that a cord attached to the windscreen washer water bottle bracket can be used to pull the Anderson connector to the gap between bonnet and body when the connector needs to be used.
When the bonnet is closed/car locked, the cord can be reached by hand through the gap at the front of the bonnet.
With a Sagaris bonnet arrangement you may not need a cord, or you may need to attach the cord end somewhere else.

On my Sag I had it moved to the driver side inner wing just forward of the expansion tank.
