T350 Boot mechanism

Picked up my "nearly new" T350T at the weekend - everything going great until the boot stopped working - just 3 days in Wouldn't be such a problem except I can't even get to the fuel opener without crawling through the car!

Spoke to my dealer, they said bring it back, but to save me the pain of heading back and forth to them is this a widely known / experienced problem? Something simple like a fuse or disconnected wire? Any thoughts/ideas.

Just a thought, Are you pressing the internal door lock button by any chance? If you are this also locks the boot and can only be unlocked by operating the keyfob
